Two teenagers in the car had no chance to survive.
© HZS Pardubického kraje The road between České Heřmanice and the Borová area in the Orlickoústecku region was closed for several hours today following a tragic traffic accident. Two young men lost their lives at the scene. The photos taken at the accident site are chilling.
The accident occurred around noon. While navigating a left-hand bend, the driver drove onto an unpaved shoulder, lost control, and hit a tree on the side. Both he and his passenger died in the incident.
Investigators have ordered autopsies for both victims. The exact cause is still under investigation.
This week has been extremely tragic. On Wednesday, seven people died on the roads, and today five, including a 12-year-old boy who was struck by a tram in Prague.
