Šlachtova Hydra is extremely dangerous, threatening freedom and justice.
The series of reports on "Sick Justice" has its next installment. The author, AKTU.cz reporter Jiří Forman, has named it Hydra. In the video, there are new recordings in which Zdeněk Tesařík, a well-known criminal, explains how police officers lobbied on his behalf. He confirms that some state prosecutors worked in his favor. Witnesses further reveal the modus operandi used by both customs officers and police to exploit Zdeněk Tesařík.
The report also touches on the ties and interconnections between Robert Šlachta and his collaborators, who over the last 15 years have determined the fates of dozens of individuals in court.
The clear diagram of connections reveals who introduced whom to Šlachta and also why GIBS approaches the investigation of potential criminal activities with such leniency.
Šlachta’s associates now hold positions in nearly every department of the investigative authorities and the public prosecution office overseeing the case.
